Who are We?

For while now we've been unable to attend church, house groups and fellowship in person - and for good reason. However, after speaking so many brothers and sisters in Christ, the same issues keep coming up: the negative effects that occur when the people of God neglect meeting together.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
- Hebrews 10:23-25

There are moments after a church service that have been missed more than I thought they would be. When people are talking, catching up, reflecting and discussing, a lot more is going on than mere socialising. People are being stirred up in love and good works. People are being encouraged in numerous ways - ways in which listening to a sermon over zoom does not fulfil.

Bible Chatter exists to help us engage in fruitful discussions about Scripture, God and ourselves. It exists to stir up one another in love and good works; and to encourage one another to hold fast to the truth.

The Bible encourages all Christians to know God through His word and through Jesus Christ - the living word. By recording our fellowships, I seek to encourage listeners who may not find it necessary to dig deep into the word of God to do so. To let them know that whether you're a nurse, a sales assistant, a post man or musician - God wants you to know Him through His word. That there are many young Christians who have various jobs and roles but because the foundation they stand on is Christ, they then seek to know Him more through the scriptures.
